Last Saturday the Pegions manage to do some free riding at Tutong, this time we went to Bukit Ambok, a place with beautiful scenery with a great view of South China Sea and Brunei’s great tropical landscape.
There were two routes from the top of the hill that we explored. One of the routes goes towards Tutong town and the other leads to Bukit Basong. Both routes are mostly single track. Have a couple of sweat drops and the only major obstacles were the trees and small cement blocks. We recommend riders to use at least a helmet and knee and shin guard going down these two routes.
The route going toward Tutong town has dual track section. The slop going down is gentle, no uphill paddlings requires at this route, but bewares of dead end track and small cement blocks. This route is fun and well recommended for beginners.
The route going to Bukit Basong is fast. One section requires up hill paddling but should not be a problem if you got the momentum from the top. Step downhill at the end and beware of dead end track. This route is recommended for riders who has a bit of experience in free riding. It is recommended to check your breaks before going down here.
Both tracks are used by runners, so be considerate while blazing down the hill. No photos were taken during our first exploration but will be uploading the photos or videos of these two routes on the next ride. I included the Google map of the two routes. Those interested in free riding at these two routes can contact us.
