Sunday, was a gloomy day and started out so slow. Spend all day watching tv and taking short nap. At around 4:00pm I was woken up from my short nap by a message from Cimut, asking me to go met up at Jerudong to go for a ride at Bukit Ambok. Took me 15 minutes to dump my bike and get all my gear into the car. At around 5:00pm, Cimut arrived at the meeting point at Jerudong. The Journey took us around 20 minutes from Jerudong. We reach the peak of Bukit Amobok just after 5:30pm
Due to time constraint, we decide to ride the track that lead to Tutong town. It took us only less then 2 minutes to ride all the way down. The last part of the track was a bit flat. At the end we had to stop due to thick bushes, not as we expected. On the way back up we decided to venture to one of the other tracks. To our amazement the other track has a lot of freeride potential. It was fast, a single track, lots of tree roots, sweet drops and a bit of uphill paddling, just like what we prefer our freeride track to be.
As was promised in the last post, we managed to take some few shots at Bukit Ambok. We only managed to take just a few video clips, mostly at the beginning. We’ll try to take more video clips at the next session. I attached a few photos from today session. The qualities of photos are not that fantastic, it was really difficult to configure the camera’s setting to cater for only little day light.
Bukit Ambok is one of the hot spots for Three Pegion to enjoy freeriding. Expect the next video clips to contain clips from this location. Those who are interested in freeriding, taking freeride photos, producing freeride video or even searching for new tracks for freeriding or tracking are most welcome to join us.
